February 2010:
All content has moved to http://drbexl.co.uk.
The scenery - stand in
one spot and it is mountains/rural outlook - the other
direction, entirely urban!

"I think, therefore
I exist"

The very sophisticated
sewer system: "You drop your camera in there, and
it can stay there!"

The Post Office, where
we spent many an hour buying stamps for all those letters
home!

When I went to get my
visa renewed, we parked on this street. As far as the
eye can see in either direction there are wedding shops
(with assistants in each one trying to sell you lovely
'merangue' dresses)!

Look out for the cockroaches,
rats, etc...

The supermarket, piled
high with rice and beans (and popcorn!)

The currency was in hyper-inflation.
Keep money in dollars and change it every day otherwise
you would lose out. This was probably worth about 1/2p
by the time I left!
